Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory – Summer 2017 Business Internship

Position Description

APL offers a limited number of business related internships each summer. Students spend the summer working with APL administrative professionals to gain practical work experience and grow professionally.

Qualifications:

For consideration, applicants should be: Full-time undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at an accredited college or university. A business, finance, accounting, human resources, journalism/communications or related major. An achiever with at least a 3.0/4.0 overall GPA.

Primary Location *Maryland-*Laurel

Relocation and travel costs are the student’s responsibility.

The internship is full-time and paid at a rate of approximately $20/hour.  The rate varies depending on the education level of the student (e.g., a senior would be paid at a higher rate than a junior).

Beginning and end dates are very flexible, but generally run from sometime in May to the middle or end of August.

Students majoring in any business related area can apply.  In my group (Accounting and Finance) we usually select Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration majors.
