Dr. Mariluz Serrano-Ortiz is an educator, researcher, and speaker committed to the integration of emerging technologies and human-centered learning in higher education. She holds an Ed.D. in Education with a specialization in Learning Technologies and has over a decade of experience in academic innovation, digital literacy, and business communication.
Her research focuses on TIHA – Technologies for Inspiration and Humanized Learning – a pedagogical approach she developed to integrate digital tools like artificial intelligence and immersive media with empathy, creativity, and ethical communication.
Dr. Serrano-Ortiz is passionate about empowering students through bilingual education, entrepreneurship, and technology-enhanced learning experiences that reflect real-world challenges and opportunities.
